If you read through the school newsletter, you will see that most of this post consists of reminders and a lot of information from last week’s blog post is included. Hence, feel free to skip through and save your time, or review last week’s blog post for additional details. I always highlight topics for your convenience. Thanks for reading!
Our first social event of the year will be an ice skating social at AZ ICE Gilbert from 7pm to 9:30pm, on Saturday, January 27th. Tickets will be sold at the door and will be $10, including skate rental.
Next Wednesday, January 24th from 10:30am to 12:30 pm, there will be a fingerprinting event here at Lincoln Prep. If you want to volunteer on campus, or attend one of the upcoming field trips with your children, you must have fingerprint clearance. The field trip dates were announced at the PSO meeting on Wednesday. They are coming up, so get those fingerprints submitted!
During the fingerprint event on the 24th, there will be a used uniform sale going on here at Lincoln Prep. Come and take a look at our very good selection of items, at deeply discounted prices. Visit our ‘Uniform’ page for additional information.
You probably do not know this, but we have the same volunteers working lunch constantly. We also have many slots to be filled for February and March. If you never volunteered for lunch, feel free to sign up anywhere you see my name, and I will personally train you! It’s easy, fast, and fun. If you have your fingerprint clearance and lunch fits into your schedule, kindly show your support of Lincoln Prep and your children by signing up to help with lunch here.
Our next school field trip that we will need volunteers for is the 6th grade field trip to the Boyce Arboretum on Tuesday, February 20th. Look for that Sign Up Genius to be published in a couple of weeks.
As always, I invite you to show your support of our students and staff by attending our meetings. The next PSO meeting will be on Wednesday, February 28th, after morning drop off. We hope to see you there!
