Hello Lincoln Prep Families! Most of this week’s blog post is a recap of the newsletter. There are a couple of sign ups however, so please read further if you would like to participate.
The Lincoln Prep Winter Sports Banquet will be on Tuesday, February 20th. Please view the Sign Up Genius if you are able to assist here.
The next general PSO meeting will take place here at Lincoln Prep on Wednesday, February 28th after morning drop-off. If you have a role or hold a position in the PSO, I would love if you could make this meeting so that we can communicate in person. I do understand that we are all busy with work and family obligations, but the time has come to regroup as a team and talk about the rest of the school year. If you can’t attend the meeting, please let me know so I can schedule a meeting with you at your convenience. Thank you!
The Lincoln Prep picnic/potluck will be on Saturday, March 3rd, from 2:30 to 6:30, at Tumbleweed Park. All Lincoln Prep families and staff are invited. Dr. Mitchell will be manning the grill. Nobody wants to miss that! PSO will be providing hot dogs, chips and water, so bring the whole family out for some great food, games (and prizes), and community-building fun. Do you have something fabulous that you would like to share? Please view the potluck sign up here!
Thank you to all of the parents who attended speaker Katey McPherson‘s presentation on Thursday evening. We appreciate your show of support for your children and our Lincoln Prep Community. I found the content to be fascinating and eye-opening, and wish I heard some of that information 10 years ago. I will be making changes in my own household as a result of what I learned. If you missed it, I recommend you find someone who attended and ask them about it.
Please remember that you can always reach me, Terry Burget at PSO@LincolnPrep.org. I am at LP almost daily, so you are invited to meet with me at your convenience. Enjoy your holiday weekend! See you next week.
